Poverty affects children differently than adults.  When a child falls into poverty it can last a lifetime.  Child Poverty in Uganda is at 55% for under-fives, and 38% for 6-17 year olds. These figures capture children experiencing 2 or more deprivations based on International standards and the Convention on the Rights of  the Child.
