Kapone Saduase Sewing School
This was designed and developed by Saltpeter Trust in cooperation with EFOD, and Cambridge Education, for the Kapone Saduase Village in Ghana.
The project was financed by the Mott MacDonald Community Project Award. The building was constructed between 2010 -2013 and provides facilities to train local women in sewing and tailoring skills. The building comprises a classroom of sufficient size to train 24 students and can also be used as a hall for local meetings and weddings. There is also accommodation for visitors to stay when in Ghana to assist the cooperative.
