Nyakoi Mam Riang Women’s Cooperative
The Borehole installed in August 2013 now serves 800 people and has eradicated typhoid in the village. EFOD North West, a sister Charity, sent 16 young engineers during the summer to construct a grain store for the Cooperative. Members will be able to store their crops safely for up to 6 months so they can sell at the top of the market, The building is now complete, and 800 sacks from the November harvest are being brought to the store. The goat project has been a real success, the breeding programme has produced many more and Cooperative membership has increase to 54.
