Koutulai Charity Farmer’s Group
The Group has grown to 78 widows. All have now received cattle & the cooperative is taking responsibility for maintenance, servicing their own mill. A Grain Store was completed in early 2016, for storage of Ground Nuts and Cassava. A Tree Nursery is self-sustaining, producing several thousand seedlings each year to sell to the community. A borehole was sunk in 2011 and serves 800 neighbours. The Village Hall benefits from a covered patio, doubling the seating capacity, and is used as a training centre & vocational school during the week, and for church services on Sundays. A solar system was added in 2017 to power lights. |
